Staff Spotlight: Brian Alexander


City Year is a mission driven organization. The mission that we have all chosen to accept is to keep students in school and on track to graduation. Throughout the month of July we want to introduce you to a few staff members at City Year DC who have been instrumental in driving our work to end the drop out crisis in order to complete our mission. While we are at it we thought it would be fun show off some of their awesome high school graduation pictures. First up is Brian Alexander, Program Director:

Role at City Year: Whole School Whole Child Program Director

What are some of your responsibilities? Supporting  the program managers and corps members everyday in schools & developing our school relationships.

What is your favorite City Year Uniform Part? My City Year watch I received as a gift.

If you had a super power what would it be and why?  Time traveling so I can revisit great moments in my past and avoid dangers of the future.

What had been your most memorable CY Experience? Working on the Summer Academy team during 2010
