City Year’s Signature Service Week is a week full of engaging, enlightening and impactful service-learning activities where 8-12th grade students in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area can join City Year Washington, DC corps members to promote a sense of responsibility for community renewal through team-based education, direct service and reflection. Programming will focus on several critical community issues and engage participants in community service, learning and reflection around these topics.
This unique experience will take place on April 1-5, 2013. Volunteers will be able to connect with their peers throughout the area and earn more than 35 community service hours, which can be used toward graduation service hour requirements for their high school.
As excited as we are about Signature Service Week, we can not hold the event without participants!
